well, after the temperature sank below 3 oC at night, we didn't stay that long and decided to drive during "children siesta". Next morning we left for Torredembarra, a nice place where we had a picknick on the boulevard and a stroll over the beach.
Still not warm enough here so we headed for Valencia the next morning. We drove through orange  fields, past the typical high cipresses and cactusses. Temperatures are rising now. 
We hoped Benicasim to be the place we wanted to stay for a few days but the overcrowded campsite made us leave. 
In Oliva we have finally found our spot. Campsite directly at the beach, warm and with a mediteranian atmosphere. We buy cold beers from the beach bar and the girls can wear t-shirts.

After 3 more days we reached Blanes at the Costa Brava in Spain. Days were pretty intensive. Getting used to all of us fitting into the car, combined with much driving during the night and Marlies getting her first teeth was tough for all of us... Stop driving late at night means closed campsides and sleeping somewhere at the roadside. This means having EVERYTHING inside the van and still having space to lie down. But the amound of blossom trees increased every hundred km and I sit outside in the evening writing this message. Sophie is very happy to be in Spain and loves to see the sea, so for us no more flashing Bulgarian trucks for a while... We stay here for a few days to catch up on some sleep and to enjoy the beginning of the spring.

we finally left in the afternoon after repairing the problem (fuse for fuel injection ). When arriving in sunny Freiburg we had a glass of Sekt to toast on the start of our trip.

19:00 o clock, everthing is packed, watertanks are filled up, the house is locked for 4 months and we said farewell to the neighbours. The kids are tightened in their seats and I swing behind the steering wheel. Than I turned the key... ....nothing happened... I try to find the cause of the problem but after 1,5 hours everybody was fed up. We returned home and put the kids in their beds...
